About this app.

Do you want to play your favourite RPG but don't have friends to play with? Or are you a group of friends that don't have a Dungeon Master but still want to play Dungeons & Dragons or other fantasy RPGs?

With Solo RPG Oracle (Basic edition), you will be able to receive inspiration for your game!

Ask questions to the app and then choose the appropriate icon to get the right answer or a hint.

There are 3 main icons that you can use:

1) The scale. That answers your questions with Yes or No.

2) The man. It answers to reactions when dealing with NPCs in 5 ways:

- Aggressive
- Hostile
- Neutral
- Friendly
- Very Friendly

3) Quest. Ask the Solo RPG Oracle a question about your quest. Like "What do the NPC know about this city?" or "What the letter talks about?". Click one or more times on the icon to receive images that will inspire you to create the story for your adventure.

For example, at the beginning of your game, you might want to know what's your quest. I like to click on the icon and use the first three images that will appear to create a story. If I get a horseman, a scarecrow and a meteor, I might interpret that a few nights ago a meteor fell not too far from the town. A city guard went to investigate but didn't come back. The morning after, a large group of guards left the city and reached the area where the meteor was supposed to be crashed. They found an area of 10 meters diameter of burned grass, but there wasn't any meteor or crater. Instead, in the middle of the burned area, there was a scarecrow. The villagers are too scared to investigate and ask you to find out what happened to the guard that disappeared and why there is a scarecrow rather than a crater in the area.

At this point, you might ask the oracle if someone is willing to bring you to the area. Here you click on the icon with the scale (Yes or No), to find out if someone is brave enough to bring you there, etc.

If you need to take notes, click on the Scroll icon; it will let you write some notes. You can then touch on the feather to save the text to continue the game later (you can load the text by clicking on the letter). If you click on the scroll, you will go to the previous icons to ask questions to the Solo RPG Oracle.

The are also other 2 pages where you can roll dice; d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d%. You can edit the text where the results of the dice are written. This text will not be saved, so if you want to write important notes, copy them and paste them into the other text area (scroll icon).

Finally, with the mind icon, you can clear all your dice rolls.

Thanks to the incorporated notes, this app is a great help, not only during your game, but also during your spare time, when you want to write down some ideas or prepare a new quest in advance.

How to create a PC or NPC for Dungeons & Dragons using 'Solo RPG Oracle - Basic':

Vuoi giocare al tuo gioco di ruolo preferito ma non hai amici con cui giocare? Oppure sei un gruppo di amici che non ha un Dungeon Master ma vuole comunque giocare a Dungeons & Dragons od ad altri giochi di ruolo fantasy?

Con Solo RPG Oracle (edizione base), potrai ricevere ispirazione per il tuo gioco!

Poni domande all'app e quindi scegli l'icona appropriata per ottenere la risposta giusta od un suggerimento.

Ci sono 3 icone principali che puoi usare:

1) La bilancia. Questo risponde alle tue domande con Sì o No.

2) L'uomo. Risponde alle reazioni quando si ha a che fare con gli NPC in 5 modi:

- Aggressivo

- Ostile

- Neutro

- Amichevole

- Molto amichevole

3) Ricerca (Quest). Poni una domanda a Solo RPG Oracle riguardo la tua missione. Come "Cosa sa l'NPC riguardo questa città?" o "Di cosa parla la lettera?". Clicca una o più volte sull'icona per visulizzre le immagini che ti ispireranno a creare la storia per la tua avventura.

Ad esempio, all'inizio del gioco, potresti voler sapere qual è la tua missione. Solitamente preferisco cliccare sull'icona e utilizzare le prime tre immagini che appariranno per prendere ispirazione per creare una storia. Se avrò un cavaliere, uno spaventapasseri ed una meteora, potrei interpretare che qualche notte fa una meteora è caduta non troppo lontana dalla città. Una guardia cittadina è andata a indagare ma non è più tornata. La mattina dopo, un folto gruppo di guardie ha lasciato la città e ha raggiunto l'area dove si sarebbe dovuto schiantare la meteora. Hanno trovato un'area di 10 metri di diametro di erba bruciata, ma non c'erano meteore o crateri. Invece, in mezzo alla zona bruciata, c'era uno spaventapasseri. Gli abitanti del villaggio sono troppo spaventati per indagare e ti chiedono di scoprire cosa è successo alla guardia scomparsa e perché c'è uno spaventapasseri piuttosto che un cratere nell'area.

A questo punto, potresti chiedere all'oracolo se qualcuno è disposto a portarti nella zona. Qui fai clic sull'icona con la bilancia (Sì o No), per scoprire se qualcuno ha il coraggio di portarti lì, ecc.

Se hai bisogno di prendere appunti, clicca sull'icona con la pergamena; ti permetterà di scrivere degli appunti. Puoi quindi toccare la piuma per salvare il testo per poter poi continuare il gioco in seguito (puoi caricare il testo facendo click sulla lettera). Se fai clic sulla pergamena, tornerai alle icone precedenti per porre domande a Solo RPG Oracle.

Ci sono anche altre 2 pagine dove puoi tirare i dadi; d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 e d%. Puoi modificare il testo in cui sono scritti i risultati dei dadi. Questo testo non verrà salvato, quindi se vuoi scrivere note importanti, copiale e incollale nell'altra area di testo (icona con la pergamena).

Infine, con l'icona della mente, puoi cancellare tutti i tuoi tiri di dado.

Grazie alle note incorporate, questa app è di grande aiuto, non solo durante il gioco, ma anche durante il tuo tempo libero, quando vuoi annotare alcune idee o preparare una nuova missione in anticipo.
